6:30P WEDNESDAY

4TH - 6TH GRADE

Although the Bible was written over a period of 1,500 years, there is one major theme – it tells all people everywhere how to have fellowship with God here on earth and be able to live eternally with him in heaven. The Bible is a beautiful gift straight from God! It is full of real people who had to decide whether or not to obey God‘s commands. Sound familiar? 🙂

On Wednesday evenings, our 4th-6th grade class will experience the highlights of both the Old and the New Testament. We will begin with God’s miracles, signs, and wonders. We will see the guidance, protection, and fellowship people had with God if they would trust him and follow him. We will witness sin entering the world and how it kept the people from accomplishing all that was possible in their lives.

All the while, God was working to bring about redemption for all of us through his perfect lamb, Jesus Christ. Finally, the time was right, and God sent his son to win the victory over sin, death, and the grave! The Holy Spirit enabled Christians to preach this good news throughout the world. We’ll finish with a discussion of God’s plan for his church as well as a plan for the spiritual growth of each believer by the power of the Holy Spirit. This class covers it all!

The revelation of all these truths will take place through studying the actual word of God, engaging in interactive activities, and playing super fun games that reinforce the facts and apply them to the kids’ lives.

We will begin class by talking to God. The students often have prayer requests and praises about their lives. It is such a special time of sharing and bonding with each other. We then lift it all up to our faithful God and open the door for an amazing experience of his Word!

WANT TO VOLUNTEER ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS?

Get started volunteering with our kids on Wednesday evenings at 6:30p. Before you can get started, we’ll need you to fill out a background check and complete a volunteer application. This is a great place to start, though! Let us know why you want to volunteer and which age group with which you want to work, and we’ll get back to you with the rest of the info!
